We tried the brioche feuilletée (listed on the menu as Mont Blanc), salt bread, butter tteok, and green onion cream bread. Out of everything, the salt bread was hands-down the standout. It had this clean, unfussy flavor with just the right amount of moisture left inside the hollow — honestly the best salt bread I’ve ever had. The brioche was equally impressive; the moment you pull it apart, the layers and the texture inside are just chef’s kiss. Those two are definite re-orders.

Found a little piece of France in Chuncheon! Jayu Bakeshop serves the most incredible Jambon Beurre and crispy, buttery Croissants. The baguette texture is legit! The staff is so friendly and the vibe is super cozy. If you want a proper French bakery experience in Korea, this is the spot.

The pastries were really good, but I thought the cream cheese was a little too thick and oniony. The parking is also not that great, but it’s free! You just have to drive around a little. The cafe is a blue ribbon winner, so they’re recognized as a great cafe.
