We visited for lunch and it was worth the hype. There was a decent wait to be seated, about 20 minutes at peak lunch, which lines up with how busy it looked inside – a good sign for a popular spot. We tried the gumtang and tteokgalbi, both new dishes to us, and they were delicious and satisfying – rich flavours, comforting to the palate, and a great introduction to something we hadn’t had before. Given it’s a place where waiting is common and the food is authentic with local character, I’d recommend it for anyone with an appetite for something uniquely Korean.
