Jeju Madang gained quite a bit of attention on social media, and we were initially hesitant to visit, worried it might just be another tourist trap. But we are so glad we gave it a try. We went on a weekday evening and found the place pleasantly quiet, with only 2 other tables occupied. The atmosphere felt genuinely local and authentic. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were generous. Even the complimentary Korean side dishes came with premium items like marinated raw crab and fish. Their homemade sauce stood out, we loved it so much that we bought a bottle to take home. The staff were warm and welcoming. While the staff don’t speak English, one of them spoke Chinese, which is convenient for Chinese-speaking guests. Food: 5
