Though it was not “my favorite burger ever” I loved the experience of eating here and loved the obvious devotion the owner has to his product and to his customers. The burger itself that I ate was a remarkable concoction—totally unique in its conception what with the black pork burger patty and the addition of pineapple as well as its white sauce—a likely house creation. The combination platter, too, was without a doubt the most original combination platter I’ve ever had: deep fried hot dog, French toast, fries, onion rings, salad and two original saucesand throw in a Dr. Pepper for a drink? Wow! Who would’ve thunk, here in Asia!!! Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Jeju Black Pork Burger

I never would have thought that one of my favorite burgers in the world would be a little spot on a tiny island in South Korea. Jeju burger encapsulates everything that a burger joint should be. Simple, but refined with such artistic precision and bursting with flavor that all blend well and no single piece takes center stage. I got the double burger mix combo. It was incredible and got better with every bite. I’m almost sad I finished it. The black pork was cooked perfectly. It oozed with succulent flavor. The pineapple slice and bacon were the perfect dance partners to complement this burger’s flavor. If this is the last burger I eat I can die happy Price per person: ₩30,000–40,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
