The moment I took a bite of the jjamppong, I couldn’t help but be amazed. The deep, spicy broth was absolutely insane. The hand-pulled dough jjamppong had a unique charm, with its chewy dough pieces blending perfectly with the clean, savory broth, while the regular jjamppong had that smoky aroma and refreshing soup that made me finish the whole bowl in no time. The sweet and sour pork with glutinous rice batter was decent, but the crispiness made it even more satisfying when paired with the jjamppong. What I loved most were the little thoughtful touches. The pickled radish and water were individually packaged, which felt really hygienic, and the self-service bar let you easily grab whatever you needed. On top of that, unlimited rice refills made it perfect for days when you want a hearty meal. It’s definitely a place worth driving to, and I’d highly recommend it on days when you’re craving a spicy, steamy bowl of soup.
