Friendly service can't make up for missing ingredients and small portions. I paid for Chadol Dwenjang and received a soup with zero beef in it. The Kong Biji was mostly liquid, and the 'free service' tofu the owner offered us is actually a standard side for every table. Between the small portions and the mix-up with the orders, it wasn't worth the price. We won't be back! Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

This spot was near our place for our one week vacation and we loved it so much we returned again. The service was great and our teenage son said it best when he said this was as close as we could get to an authentic home-cooked meal. My favorite was the pork and squid dish and the kimchi pancakes! Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
