We wanted to take the buns with us, so we bought loads of them. I asked for a box to take them in, but the assistant said she wouldn’t give us one. When I asked, ‘Why not?’, she simply ignored me and turned away. We bought a whole load of buns, and they can’t be bothered to give us one plastic carry-out box? That’s just plain rude and greedy. The service was absolutely dreadful. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Takeaway Price per person: $50–100

I recently visited 청흥키, a restaurant run by 이상민 만ㄷ, and overall had a positive experience. While the atmosphere was a bit noisy, the food and service made up for it. The restaurant had a lively energy, which made it great for groups or casual dinners with friends. However, for those looking for a more intimate setting, the noise level may be a bit overwhelming. In terms of service, I did notice that it took a bit longer than expected for our food to arrive. However, the waitstaff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal, which made the wait more bearable. The food itself was the highlight of the evening. The flavors were bold and complex, showcasing Chef 이상민's creativity and skill. The menu had a range of options, from classic Korean dishes to more unique and innovative offerings. Overall, despite the noisy atmosphere and slow service, I would still recommend 청흥키 for those looking for delicious food and a fun dining experience.
