I tried the regular Jang Kalguksu, the perilla seed version with soft tofu, dumplings, and the codari gimbap at Chodang Jang Kalguksu. Overall, the flavors were just average. Although the reviews were good, the food was slightly disappointing. Specifically, the soft tofu was unseasoned and bland. Adding a handful of this tofu to the perilla seed soup ended up diluting the rich, savory flavor instead of enhancing it. It was quite disappointing for a place reputed to be a good restaurant. Best in Korea after almost two weeks of Seoul. Good prices. Really spicy just as it should be! Perfect noodles. Perfect dumplings. Great sides. I loved it. This is what I've waited for since I arrived to South Korea. Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very kind staff, always full of passion and respond quick. 5000KRW Children's Jajangmyeon Kalguksu is small amount of noodles for an adult. So I also order 6000KRW 청양참치 꼬다리김밥. Too spicy for me but still delicious and looks like an artwork. Kimchi is the best!!! I took away some Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
