マンチョンドンで行ったCoffee Baram、 ここはまずハンドドリップから試してほしい。 韓国でよくある「写真だけ可愛いカフェ」とは全然違う。 メニューの中でもドリップが一番自信あるっていうのが伝わる。 豆の種類がちゃんと揃ってて、 酸味の明るさ・ボディの重さ・香りの方向性まで丁寧に説明してくれる。 ただ“おすすめです”じゃなくて、 自分の好みを会話しながら一緒に選んでくれる感じ。 この距離感、日本の専門店でしか見ないレベル。 私が選んだのは少し軽めのロースト。 一口目は香りがすっと上がって、 温度が落ちるほどに甘さが広がる。 最後の一滴まで雑味がなくて、 **“抽出を理解してる人が淹れたコーヒー”**って分かる味だった。 ここはエスプレッソではなく、 絶対にドリップで本気を感じた方がいい。 店内の雰囲気も優しい。 木目が多くて光が柔らかく落ちるから、 写真映えというより自然に落ち着ける空間。 静かだけど暗いわけじゃなく、 本読んでも作業しても会話しても浮かない。 そしてパン。 ここは店内で焼いてるのが本当に強い。 ソルティバターのロール、外サクッ中ふわっで 香りがドリップの後味を濁さない。 甘すぎないからコーヒーの余韻をちゃんと残してくれる。 “パンも一緒に楽しませる”っていうより、 コーヒーを最大限おいしくするためのパンって感じ。 店主さんは静かに優しいタイプ。 質問すると嬉しそうに説明してくれて、 こっちがコーヒー好きなのを察して話してくれるのが心地いい。 無理な営業トークもなく、 「分かる人に伝わればいい」みたいな落ち着いた自信がある。 韓国住みの日本人、 旅行できてる人、 どっちにもおすすめだけど、 コーヒーが好きな人ほど刺さる場所だと思う。 韓国の“映え系カフェ”に疲れたなら、 ここで一杯、落ち着いて飲んでみてほしい。 > Coffee Baram = ハンドドリップを好きな人のための韓国カフェ。 ここで飲む一杯は、ただのカフェじゃなくて“休息”に近い。 Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I stumbled into Coffee Baram in Manchon without expecting much, and ended up finding my new favorite spot in the neighborhood. The first thing that impressed me was the coffee menu. Not the usual “latte, americano, cappuccino and that’s it” kind of place — they actually have a wide range of brews, espresso drinks, and a dedicated section for hand-drip coffee. Each bean is described in a way that actually makes sense: how bright the acidity is, what kind of sweetness you’ll notice, and what the finish feels like. You can tell whoever built the menu cares about coffee, not trends. I ordered one of their lighter roast pour-overs, and it was honestly the kind of cup you slow down for. Clean aroma at the top, soft fruit notes as it cooled, and a finish that didn’t hit harsh or sour — just smooth, controlled, and intentional. It felt like it was brewed by someone who enjoys making coffee rather than just serving it. And then there’s the bakery side. They bake their bread in-house, and you can taste it. The salted butter roll I tried was warm, crispy around the edges, and soft inside — the kind of texture that makes you pause mid-conversation. It doesn’t overpower the coffee; it actually complements it, like they were designed to be eaten together. Coffee Baram isn’t just a “cute café with nice interiors.” It’s a place where coffee is the main character, and the baked goods play a perfect supporting role.
