Here’s a clear and sharp bad review you can post: ⸻ 1-Star Review Had an extremely disappointing experience at the Coffee Bean next to Fraser Place on two consecutive mornings (15 and 16 Nov, around 9am), both times served by the same male staff member. On the first day, he completely ignored us at the counter and pretended not to understand English when we asked if there were other sandwiches not shown in the display. He didn’t respond at all—not even a simple gesture to indicate yes or no. When we finally ordered our drinks, he took the order without saying a single word. Immediately after us, an English-speaking customer stepped up and he suddenly switched attitude, speaking fluently in English and even repeating the order politely. The contrast was obvious and uncomfortable. On the second day, we gave it another try and unfortunately encountered the same behaviour—no eye contact, no greeting, no basic courtesy. When I asked if he accepted cash, he responded only to say “no change,” even though I hadn’t even shown him the note yet. When I handed him 3,000 won and told him to keep the 100 won change, he still returned the 100 won to me, clearly not listening at all. Overall, this staff member’s attitude was consistently unfriendly, dismissive, and unprofessional. Definitely one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in Seoul, and not what I expect from Coffee Bean. Would not recommend chinese speaker stopping by this outlet.
