I visited Compose Coffee recently and while I have to say the coffee itself is actually quite good, the service was extremely disappointing. I accidentally selected “takeaway” on the ordering screen, while my friend selected “dine-in.” When the drinks were ready, the staff told me that because I pressed takeaway, I was not allowed to sit inside and had to drink outside. This made no sense, especially since my friend was clearly staying and drinking inside. What was I supposed to do—leave my friend and stand outside alone? I tried to explain the situation politely, but the staff member was very insistent and didn’t show any flexibility or understanding. She came over multiple times to ask me to leave, which felt unnecessary and quite rude. This kind of rigid and unfriendly service really ruined the experience. It’s disappointing because the coffee is good, but service matters just as much. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won’t be coming back. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
