Kurinoki is one of those places you almost stumble into — the cute sign outside does the job of pulling you in, and it feels a bit more playful than the usual polished café fronts. It’s small, slightly tucked away, and carries that easy, neighbourhood charm rather than anything overly curated. You go in expecting a quick look, maybe a coffee, and end up staying longer than planned. The baked goods are what make it stick. Simple, well-made, and clearly done with care rather than trying to be overly inventive. The pizza is surprisingly solid too — not trying to compete with a full-on pizzeria, but good enough to feel like a proper meal rather than an afterthought. Net-net, it’s one of those accidental finds that works out — you come for the exterior, but stay because the food actually holds up. Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
