Hungry for noodles, tried Tantan Noodles Kitchen which was a short 10 min walk from my hotel. The area where the restaurant is at has a lot of options and there was a lot of foot traffic on a Saturday afternoon. Stepped into the small restaurant and asked for seating for 1. The waitress fortunately spoke very good English and instructed me to order from the vending machine, recommending the Tantan noodles and fried mandu. After ordering and paying at the vending machine, sat down at the bar and food was out within 5 min. The noodles here were really good, 5 out of 5 on texture and preparation. They were slippery slick as if they were oiled and just the right firmness. Th broth was solid, with enough spice to make it flavorful without being too hot. The mandu were also a nice complement to the noodles as I dipped the crispy mandu into the broth. Would highly recommend to come eat here if you’re in the area, probably not some place I would go out of my way to eat at however as there are so many choices in Seoul! Also, bring a water bottle, this is not someplace where they just provide it for you. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
