After watching Culinary Class Wars and ending up on a chance vacation to Seoul, I knew I had to try at least one of the Chef’s cuisines from the show. We decided on Tian Mi Mi and kept our fingers crossed for a lunchtime waitlist spot. The wait was long, but absolutely worth it. Now I see what Mr. Paik Jong-won and Chef Anh Sung-jae were raving about. The flavors of each course were absolutely outstanding, each presenting a unique profile that did not step on the toes of the last. The spice was never overpowering and several times the same dish shone with a variety of flavor profiles all complimenting each other. Every new round left us battling to discern which of the dishes were our new favorites. To top it all off the contrast in temperature for the cold dessert versus all the hot and spicy food made it a perfect counter balance. All I can say is, Tian Mi Mi. You pass this round Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩90,000–100,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Stir-Fried Vegetables, Honey Chicken, Stir-Fried Chicken with Chili Peppers, Sauce Chilled Beef, Pork Belly Barbecue
