By far the best place I have been in Seoul. For europeans, this kind of atmosphere is something unique. The food is so good, and the service is great. After being at Lotte tower and eating here, everything in life seems to be better. If I knew this place when I came here, would have avoided so many average places. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I visited right at opening with a reservation and was seated immediately. The Japanese-style interior was beautifully detailed, with books, posters, and a display of sake bottles that created an authentic izakaya atmosphere. The open kitchen lets you watch the chefs and even interact with the owner, which made the experience feel personal. Palgakdong feels like a hidden gem—perfect for relaxed, meaningful conversations.
