Mild Pyeongyang Naengmyeon restaurants are extremely rare in Jeju. There are various reasons, but ultimately it’s because there’s a lack of demand. I enjoyed this noodle much more than Bongpiyang in Seoul that I visited a few days ago. The broth is rich, clear, and properly prepared. The dumplings are North Korean-style vegetable dumplings made with Jeju ingredients, and since they’re difficult to make and not profitable, it’s best to enjoy them while they’re still being sold. Highly recommended. The complimentary boiled meat included what appeared to be pork upper neck (nuchal area) and beef shank - excellent texture. Perfect for a daytime drink. The prices are very reasonable compared to the food quality. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Came here on a hot day for cold noodle soup and was surprised it was the Pyeongyang version. The owners were very attentive to us as foreigners in helping us with our order. Ordered the signature pyeongyang noodles and a plate of boiled pork. The noodles were the best we have had on the island, light broth with the right amount of vinegar. The plate of boiled pork (neck) was delightful as well, flavorful without being too gamey. It was soft and tender as well. Overall, highly recommend this place to everyone on a hot day! Owners were very sweet as well, we throughly enjoyed! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
