I was here today (15 September 2026) for a coffee and a dessert. I'm from Singapore and I was drawn to this cafe after checking out its dessert counter. I ordered the following here: a Spanish Cafe Latte and a Dark Hazelnut Cake. The coffee here was very good and the dessert that I ordered was excellent in terms of taste and texture. Service here was very good - friendly and obliging and the counter staff here speak English. The dining ambience here was nice enough, but it can get quite noisy. Paul Bassett at the Lotte Department Store main branch offers a mixed experience. My husband and I tried their Matcha Milk and Chocolat Blanc, and both were delicious. The Matcha Milk had a perfect blend of creamy milk and rich matcha, beautifully presented with a white layer at the bottom. The Chocolat Blanc was a chocolate lover's dream, thick and decadent with a delightful topping of whipped cream. However, the atmosphere was quite loud and busy since it’s located inside the Lotte department store. Fortunately, we were able to find a table and dine in. It’s a good spot for a tasty drink if you don't mind the hustle and bustle. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Other
