Spacious with free coffee. That's all I can say. With 5 big cauldrons in the display window, I had high hopes. White soup tasted like hot water. Adding salt, pepper and green onions didn't help. Noodles were smooth, but wasn't able to finish my meal. As well, kimchi was a bit too salty. Disappointed I don't know how to appreciate it. Definitely had more flavourful ones in other asian countries. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awesome place, highly recommended! Greeted by cheery smiles and friendly staff the second I entered. Went for the basic soup bowl at 15k (main objective was to try the broth) & dumplings at 7k. The soup bowl had a couple slices of meat, soft noodles and came with rice. Broth came unseasoned, and you can add salt and pepper as needed. I just enjoyed it pure. Dumplings were so meaty and large, and the salty tangy sauce went really well with it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thank you very much for the wonderful review. Seolleongtang is a traditional Korean food. There is a depth to the protein of the soup because it is boiled for a long time. Dumplings taste only when they are filled with meat. I wish you all the best. ^^

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a solo-long-tang restaurant in Hongdae, just a short 5-minute walk from the L7 LOTTE hotel. The experience was overall delightful, though I did feel the price was a bit on the higher side—25,000 won for two dishes. I ordered the large seolleongtang and a side of vegetable dumplings. The star of the show was the soup—it was wonderfully thick, richer than any other seolleongtang I had tried before. The beef was abundant, and I think the portion size played a role in that satisfaction. I left feeling extremely full, even though I dined solo. The atmosphere was cozy, with a warm vibe, and of course, the unlimited kimchi was a nice touch. The staff were super friendly, making the whole meal feel welcoming. If you’re in Hongdae and craving a heartwarming seolleongtang, this place is a must-visit! Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
