I prefer the dark premium choco than the regular original. Thick outer coating. Soft on the inside. Filling was just the nice amount. Service was standard. Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

PNB Bakery has been an institution for the last 75 years in Jeonju. So special that it only has stores in Jeonju, despite its ability to make a killing if it had franchises across South Korea. This store was filled with sweet delights including the famous traditional choco pies and many variants of these. The strawberry cookie I got was so amazing I went back and bought 3 more for the rest of my trip. It was a soft risen cookie with a strawberry compote in the centre and what tasted like a yoghurt icing on top with pieces of freeze dried strawberries as garnish. Just delicious! Also tried the white chocolate choco pie but not a huge chocolate fan. It was very rich tasting. Watermelong shortbread were cute but tasted like normal shortbread. Other PNB stores downtown did not have all items in this range so I had to track down this store to get my favourites before leaving. Please open internationally!!
