This neighbourhood restaurant is an absolut outlier. This is fusion when it’s best. P01 blends Korean, Japanese and Italian flavours with Japanese cooking techniques very skilfully. The result is innovate dishes and modern interpretations of classics, skilfully executed. This is true from the starter of sool bbang to the grilled horsemackarel and pork belly main dishes. They make substantial use of the hibachi to cook their fish and meats, imparting a delicious smoked flavour into the food. Whilst not unique, it’s rare to come by. The service is friendly. They have a relatively modest but interesting wine list, but I also have to mention it’s disappointing that each customer must buy an alcoholic drink and there are no non-alcoholic alternatives on the menu. This bistro level restaurant is modernising and elevating Korean cuisine to a higher level and bringing it into the 21st century in a way you usually have to go to a one or two star Michelin restaurant to get - and at a very different price level. I hope you will start a wave of modern cooking in Korea. Keep doing what you are doing. Thank you guys. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely and utterly fantastic time here at P01. It’s a tapas place so you can try many dishes at once. The quality is exceptional. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other signature dishes. Their pasta is also phenomenal and I highly recommend trying everything.
