Very cute interior, the effort is obvious. I’m from LA and also have been to NYC several times. I’ve tried a lot of pizza since, new york style being my favorite. Let me tell you, Pizza Express was an instant favorite. A month later, even after a trip to NYC last week, I’m still thinking about Pizza Express. Which says a lot because I’ve had L’industrie, Nolita, Joe’s, Prince St, and Williamsburg (my favorite from NYC so far). At Pizza express, their little pepperonis cupped and charred just right, had fresh grated parmesan cheese on top, and their crust was perfectly crispy all throughout while still being able to slightly fold. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed it. Considering I also got a slice while being the only customer there, I assume my slice was reheated which is so impressive with how good it was. Anddd, their hot wings… what a surprise. It was sooo good… it’s baked with the seasoning so it’s not drenched in sauce whatsoever, and it’s such quality chicken… I’m not someone that can eat chicken clean because I hate cartilage, but I was able to eat every wing completely clean. The sauce they gave was also really good… I thought I’d need ranch and was about to ask for it, but the sauce was delicious enough that I didn’t miss ranch at all. I can’t wait to go back to Pizza Express. I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I’m sad it only exists in Korea. I highly recommend! *I really wish I took a picture of my pizza, because looking through the Google gallery here, it didn’t really look like what others have posted and the photos here really don’t do the pizza I had any justice. Just trust me, you gotta go and try it for yourself! Don’t forget to get their wings! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
