Now I finally have a reason to come to Samgakji in Seoul. Honestly, I wouldn't trade this for a two-Michelin-star meal. They recommended a natural wine that simply couldn't miss, and it made my whole night. The chef trained at Michelin star restaurant and it shows. Every single dish was flawless. I'm a picky eater who won't touch anything that isn't genuinely good, and I can't hold much alcohol either. So from someone like me, a few notes: The seasoning was restrained but perfectly judged. Every dish carried the same quiet humility the owner-chef himself has, yet you could still tell it was seriously good. And the wine they picked for me was lovely.
