I first discovered Mr Ahn’s makgeolli in June 2017. Tucked in a quiet street in Noksapyeong, it was perfect because it was away from the noise of Itaewon, had good food and amazing makgeolli. Coming back to Seoul this time, I found that the restaurant has moved to the main Street, bigger than what it was before. Food is still just as good, if not better. The wine is as always on point. Mr Ahn’s makgeolli has become my go-to makgeolli bar when I head to Seoul. And of course I had to buy makgeolli bottles this time as well to bring home!

By far my favorite korean restaurant in all of Seoul. A wonderful selection of makgeolli, some of the tastiest avant garde dish I ever ate. Go there if you haven't already.
