My go-to spot whenever I visit Korea! The restaurant is large and the service is always kind. Even though the portion sizes have decreased a bit compared to two years ago, the prices haven't changed, so it’s still a great value. While the initial side dishes are simple, the self-serve bars located around the shop make it very easy to grab more.The staff will kindly pack any leftover food into containers upon request. This is the spot to go for authentic and clean-tasting Soondae. Keep in mind that it gets very crowded before and after lunch hours, so plan your visit accordingly to avoid a long wait. Raise your hand if you want a full meal with gukbap! Rice soup(pronounced gukbap in Korean) is Korean food that is mixed with rice in soup. If you like gukbap or want to try it, you should go here '함경도찹쌀순대전문점'. The restaurant is located in 32, songpa-daero 28, songpagu, Seoul. If you want to go to the restaurant by public transportation, you can get off at the police hospital station on line 3. Now, I'm going to talk about the menu, which is the most important part of the restaurant. The representive menu, soondae gukbap, is 10000, so it's not cheap. But it is rich in meat ingrediants and soondae, you won't be disappointed. In addition, it's always served to the boil, so you can eat warm food until the end. It's very hot at first, so be careful and eat it! When you visit there in lunch time of dinner time, you may be flustered due to noisy atmosphere. It is very crowded with elderly people and other families mainly visiting. If you want a quiet vibe, don't go during the meal time. I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars since radish kimchi, the best friend of gukbap, is delicious and chives are fresh. Not only that, but the most positive feature is that you don't feel the smell of meat. There are people who haven't been there, but there are people who haven't been there only once.
