I was told how great this place was and I tried several times to see if my tastebud was true in terms of I had better Chinese at other places. I’m not sure why this place gets so much praise — I tried the jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), jjajangmyeon, and sweet and sour pork, and none of it stood out. If you’re in the Mapo area, I’d much rather recommend a Chinese restaurant called Pinghao — it’s in a different league compared to anything else nearby.
