This place is an absolute must-visit — don’t even hesitate. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the food genuinely exceeded expectations. Every single side dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavour, which already sets the bar high before the mains even arrive. The puffer fish soup was the star of the meal — rich, comforting, and surprisingly delicate. My wife ordered the oyster soup, and that was equally impressive; fresh, hearty, and deeply satisfying. Tongyeong’s seafood reputation is well-earned, and this place lives up to every bit of it. For context, a meal of this quality and generosity would easily run you $100 or more back in Australia. We had a breakfast here at about 8:30 in the morning. It was crisp clean and deliscious. Portion was bit big for me so I left some and felt bad about it. All Banchan were tasty and there were many different kinds of them including 회. These soups will be a very good hangover cure too. Loved it and highly recommend it. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Specialised in fish.
