The spice level in the Tteokbokki was just right for me. The dish is quite sweet though and you wonder about the amount of sugar in it. Still, I'd happily return any day. Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Vegetarian options: Tteokbokki are rice cakes in chili sauce, it's a vegetarian snack.

It is one of the best tteokbokki in Hongdae. Not overly sweet with just the right amount of spiciness. The prices of the menu items are very reasonable. You must try their deep-fried octopus. Their bingsu is top-notch as well. The proprietress is very friendly and attentive. A hidden gem in Hongdae. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩1–10,000
