The greatest advantage of this restaurant is that the meat is very cheap despite its good quality. At the price of $20, you can eat infintely many pork and it is really delicious.

I loved coming here everytime I came to Seogwipo (the first night in town 흑돈오리 was always my go-to spot, the smoked flavor of the meat is some of the best you'll find and dare I say it tastier than most upscale Pork spots). However, the third time I came here will be my last. Poor hygienic practices led to one of the worst outbreaks of food poisoning me and my partner have ever had. I had terrible intestinal and stomach cramps/she developed a fever). I suspect it's how the meat was handled -- smoked partially, left to sit out (way too long) until finished on the grill -- the uncooked smoked meat was also placed right next to where the ajumma was handling vegetables. While I didn't have this the first two times I ate here, the third time unquestionably led to one of the worst stomach bugs I've had. Within 2 hours I developed symptoms that lead to 2 days of canceled Jeju fun in favor of my hotel bed and porridge. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.
