After being recommended this place at another bar, we were able to squeeze in just before last call. You have to have an idea what you’re looking for to find the entrance - hence a speakeasy. The drinks are a little pricey but what you’re getting is a unique cocktail in a truly intimate, moody, grown & sexy atmosphere. The service is top notch, and the manager who let us in constantly checked on us even though they were trying to close and clean up. Would highly recommend for a quick drink or bar crawl stop! This was a great cocktail bar. I wouldn’t say it stands above many other great cocktail bars in Hong Kong but it has a very inventive menu and the cocktails were very very good. A big part of the fun is simply finding 001 and feeling like you have stumbled onto something others don’t know about. It’s also fun to see one of the OG cocktail bars that has been around for much longer than the newcomers. If I were a visitor from out of town (or had visitors coming) this would be a great place to take them and it benefits from a location at Tai Kwun which is still pretty cool too. Staff were incredibly professional and gave enough interesting information about the cocktails without being over the top. Would absolutely visit again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
