Visited in September 2025. Taiwan Taipei. Reminiscent of an American-style bar, 30 Thirty boasts a relaxed ambiance with dark tones and wooden furniture, creating a laid-back yet inviting atmosphere. We chose this spot for its early 11 AM opening, making it perfect for a leisurely brunch. FOOD: The menu leans toward European cuisine with subtle Asian influences, offering a variety of wine-friendly appetizers. Since we weren’t too hungry, we opted for their highly praised squid with mentaiko. The squid was tender and perfectly cooked, while the mentaiko inside added a slightly crunchy, juicy burst of flavor. The spices were well-balanced, and the dish was an absolute delight, leaving a strong impression. SERVICE: The service was friendly and attentive, with our dish arriving in about 20 minutes, making for a smooth and pleasant experience. VERDICT: 30 Thirty is a fantastic spot with a cool, relaxed vibe, though it might get noisy and crowded in the evenings. While we only tried one dish, the quality was impressive, and it left us eager to return for more. This restaurant is a great pick for a chill meal with flavorful, well-executed dishes.
