$9.90 all day Bak Kut Teh set at 325 Bak Kut Teh is so worth it. They uses the legendary 30 year old recipe and their soup is slow simmered for long hours and taste exactly how a good bak kut teh should be — rich, peppery and hearty. The pork ribs were soft, tender and fully infused with that shiok peppery flavour. Must order: Bak Kut Teh All Day Set Meal $9.90 Comes with a bowl of peppery bak kut teh, white rice and your choice of 1 side (Braised Tofu / Tofu Skin / Tofu Puff, Salted Vegetables or Peanuts). Braised Pork Rice $5 This one surprised us. Rice topped with braised pork, braised egg, salted vegetables and peanuts. So flavourful! Their braised dishes are slow-braised in their house-crafted herbal broth so the flavours go really deep. Definitely must add on Braised Pig’s Trotter $6.90 which is tender, rich and full of collagen goodness. Waterfall Coffee / Milk Tea $3 Old-school kopi/teh with overflowing foam. So fragrant, rich and smooth. Traditional Toast $2 Impressive toast with home made kaya that is creamy and fragrant. MUST TRY! Best part? They’re open 24 HOURS so we can satisfy bak kut teh cravings anytime — breakfast, supper or even post-drinks. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A normal bak kut teh experience. I ordered the bak kut teh set with rice and braised tofu skin. The soup has a mild peppery taste not too strong and is easy to drink. The pork ribs portion is average, nothing special but still decent. The braised tofu skin with rice was the highlight of the set. I also tried the waterfall milk tea. It’s sweet and creamy, more like a dessert drink than a normal tea. Basically feels like dessert pretending to be a drink. Nice if you like milk tea, but a bit heavy overall. The total came up to $12.90, with no GST or service charge, which is quite reasonable. Overall, a simple, no-frills meal in Balestier. Nothing fancy, but still a solid option for a quick bite. Sometimes a normal meal is also enough especially when you just want something warm in your stomach and peace in your soul. Definitely comfort food for me and wife. We ordered BKT meal with tofu, braised meat rice, and waffle for dessert. She usually doesn't like anything pork but this time she said she like it. Clean taste, fresh and peppery. I like it too. Really comforting, makes me remember my late mother cooking. Friendly staff ladies too.
