Came here specifically for the crab and it didn't disappoint. We had the XL black pepper crab, which was $99 and the pepper taste was very defined except my friend didnt enjoy the tint of sweetness, which I actually liked. Their signature dishes like cai po tofu & qinglong vege were delicious too. The only let down for me was the muar otah, which I felt was expensive for an ordinary tasting otah, even though it was huge. Service staff were polite and prompt to your requests. On the whole, it was a good dining experience but you definitely need a reservation as the place was pretty small for a warehouse location (probably taken up by the kitchen space); there were no empty tables throughout our dining period. Tucked away in an industrial area, 8 Crabs is a hidden gem that delivers well beyond expectations. The crabs were the clear highlight — fresh, meaty, and generously coated in rich, flavourful sauces. The salted egg crab stood out with its creamy, indulgent finish, while the chilli crab had a good balance of sweetness and spice without being overwhelming. The crawfish were equally satisfying, cooked simply to let the natural sweetness shine. Sides were thoughtfully done. the fried mantou were soft and perfect for soaking up the sauces, and the tofu dish added a comforting contrast to the heavier flavours. Even the vegetables were well-executed, retaining a nice crunch and not overly greasy. The setting is casual and unpretentious, but clean and comfortable — very much focused on the food rather than the ambience. Service was efficient and friendly, making the overall dining experience smooth and enjoyable. If you’re looking for quality crab without the typical restaurant frills, this is definitely a spot worth returning to. Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Ordered delivery, ordered the chilli and Cajun garlic seafood in a bag with 2 XL crabs added. Both of them tasted good although one of the crabs was slightly smaller but overall it was good. Would order again for gatherings and parties. Delivery was on time and everything was packed nicely. Highly recommended. Price per person: $70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Seafood in a Bag
