この日本食レストランは週2、3回日本から新鮮な食材を豊富に取り揃えています。そして、統括シェフは日本で15年以上の経験豊富な信頼出来るシンガポール人料理人です。でも味はシンガポール人が好む味付けになっているので日本人が食べるとたまに味が濃すぎだり、日本ではありえない創作料理があります。ただ、シンガポールで日本の本物の料理を提供しているレストランはほとんど閉店してます（超高級日本食レストランは分からないですが）。このレストランはしっかりとシンガポール人の心をつかんでいると思います。価格もどれだけ食べてお酒を飲んでも1人100ドル超える事はなかなかないです。とても良心的な価格で本場とシンガポールの兼ね備えた日本食が食べられるとても良いレストランだと思います。また、来たいと思います。ご馳走様でした。. We visited Akami SG with high hopes after hearing good things about their food. Overall, the dishes ranged from average to really good — some items truly impressed us, while others felt quite standard. The variety and quality were decent, but not everything stood out. Our waiter was proactive in recommending some must-try dishes, including a few off-menu specials. While we appreciated the effort, we chose to go with a mix of his suggestions and our own picks. So far, so good. However, the experience took a disappointing turn when we asked if they served garlic fried rice — a common dish. The waiter's response? “Of course, we do serve cheap food and garlic fried rice is the cheapest.” We were stunned and frankly offended by the tone and choice of words. It came across as dismissive and disrespectful, as if our question or food preference was beneath the restaurant’s standards. To add to it, when we placed the order for garlic fried rice, his follow-up was, “Yes, but you must wait,” in a tone that felt more like a warning than a courteous response. We were left feeling unwelcome and insulted. Good food can’t make up for poor service and a lack of basic courtesy. Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad impression, and we don’t see ourselves returning to Akami SG again. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60
