We came here for appetizers, cocktails and to watch the sunset a couple of times! We had a very relaxing time there. The mojitos and appetizers were tasty! There were lounge chairs on the beach that you can use directly in front of the restaurant. It was perfect to watch the sunset. I would come back when in Koh Samui! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really wanted to like Alchemy Cafe, but after two visits, I can confidently say this place is a huge disappointment. Save your money and go somewhere else. For breakfast, I ordered the pancakes and waffles. They were incredibly bland, bitter, and dry for the most part. There was zero moisture or flavor in them, and to top it off, they didn't even provide any maple syrup. It felt like eating cardboard. The starters were just as bad. The gai (chicken) satay was tough, dry, and so hard to bite into that it was a struggle. The tom yum soup was even worse it had an overwhelming amount of lemongrass in it. Every single spoonful had pieces of hard lemongrass, making it unpleasant and difficult to eat. On day two, I tried the Korean chicken KFC-styled burger. The bread was stale, hard, and literally broke apart in my hands. The chicken inside was dry and had almost no seasoning at all. The fries that came with it had zero salt, so the whole meal was completely flavorless and dreadful. To make matters worse, the prices are insanely unreasonable for the extremely poor quality of food you get. This is not worth it at any price point. Avoid Alchemy Cafe unless you enjoy paying premium prices for subpar, disappointing meals. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400
