We stopped here by chance and were so glad we did. The food tastes like it’s cooked at home, in the best possible way, simple, fresh, and full of flavor. The Penang curry was honestly one of the best I’ve had. It’s a small, family-run spot behind their house, and you can feel the care in every dish. We’ll definitely be back. Mum-A-Roy is the best Thai food we’ve had on this trip — maybe ever. It truly feels like a family-run place, and we were lucky to be served by “Mum” herself. You can taste the care and authenticity in every dish. The cashew nut chicken was perfect — deep wok flavor, vegetables cooked just right (not undercooked like you often get in the US), and beautifully balanced. Honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The Panang curry with shrimp was rich, creamy, slightly spicy, and incredibly generous — we counted 12 shrimp! Most places back home give you half that. Nothing bland, nothing touristy — just bold, authentic Thai flavors. Highly recommend. We’ll be back. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
