This is hands down one of my absolute favorite fish soup stalls in Singapore. The soup is truly the soul of the dish—rich, flavourful, and incredibly comforting. Once you try the fish soup here, you’ll realize you can’t find anything else quite like it! My go-to order is always the Sliced Fish (Regular size). It costs about $8.50 without rice or noodles, and $9.50 if you include them. Crucial tip: You must add the fried garlic in the soup. It elevates the entire dish and completes the experience. A word of warning for dine-in: If you want a seat, you need to arrive early, preferably before 11:30 AM. After 11:45 AM, the lunch crowd hits hard, and you will likely have to opt for takeaway (dapao). Although the queue is usually long, it clears surprisingly fast, so don't be deterred! If you’re in the area, this is definitely one of the better food choices. The soup was rich and reminiscent of the classic arcade fish soup. I paid $9.50 for the medium-sized double fish, and it was quite filling. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10
