This charming, no-frills homestay is the perfect base to see the Wild Himalayan cherry blossoms (sakura) and observe day-to-day Hmong village life at Ban Khun Chang Khian. Ba Rung also has a cafe on site, where they serve their own home-grown and home-roasted coffee. While the cafe menu was only limited to pork, we really appreciated that they were able to accommodate our food restrictions — for breakfast, my partner was able to get vegetarian fried rice while I got a huge bowl of pad see ew chicken. I also ordered pad krapow gai (rice with basil chicken) for dinner the previous night. Just give them prior notice. In December, it gets really cold at night and early mornings so bring warm clothing. Recommended especially if you like supporting local small businesses.

What a great place...peaceful, in a such lovely garden. Green green and green. Had a super good lunch there it was perfectly cooked. Run by a charming family. Highy recommended. Cherry blossom season in December in the whole area Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you explore the end of Doi Pui area, you have to visit this cafe to relax and enjoy the nature. The foods are delicious. This cafe is simple but I'm gratefull I can eat at here Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
