Unfortunately disappointing experience here this time, compared last visit ~5 yrs ago. Gone is the fresh seafood and more French inspired menu which has been replaced with a very ordinary Thai menu, which frankly is not worth the journey IMHO. As mentioned by another reviewer, we too received cold, limp fries and calamari that was not only chewy, but had added sugar! The massaman curry was watery and cold, most definitely not Thai standard. The mixed vegetables were bland and again, not thai quality. Overall a very sad downfall of a once hidden gem. Luckily they still have the view and cold beer Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿400–600

We are new locals in Ao Thalane and have tried most of the local eateries and running out of ideas went to this one. It was after 8pm and there were no recent reviews so we weren’t sure if it was even open. We followed the road which looked like it hadn’t been driven on for 10 years. Arriving to a little oasis we followed the signs and lights down the footpath to a little beachfront restaurant. The setting, staff, food and ambience were lovely. They even have an actual wine list with decent wine, the viognier by the glass was lush. We will be back!!! ps there are two roads to the restaurant and the staff showed us the better road. Don’t follow Google maps, follow the signs to Nature camping it is that road! Or take a boat Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿1,200–1,400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
