If you are planning a trip to Thailand and you're including in your itinerary spending time in Krabi, you've gotta check out Le Passe Temps! Unless, that is, you like being immersed in crowds and congestion rather than nature. And you prefer hurried group tours to relaxed private ones. This is an eco-resort in harmony with nature and local culture. It's style is a blend of Thai and French, delightfully combined. The staff is wonderful. The facilities are charming and immaculate. Partaking of excellent food at the dining area on the beach under the shade of banyan trees with views of Phang Nga Bay and some of it's many islands is heavenly. The beach extends some distance primarily south, and can be walked while rarely encountering another soul. Tours you won't find available elsewhere are on offer. Do yourself a favor: don't just check out Le Passe Temps... stay here! Like me, you'll undoubtedly find that your experience surpasses the anticipation with which you arrive. Service: 5

I will start with the good parts - the area is a very nice one and one can admire the sunset from a nice terrace or directly by the sea. Tge staff is also very kind. Being isolated, the resort offers the benefit of the nature around. Otherwise the meal options are not great. After trying two dishes for dinner,I've realised that the quality is not what I was expecting, or what I saw around for a similar price. The cottage is also very noisy (not nature's sounds, but the generator), only have a black tea as an option (no local product), and no privacy at all as the cottage has a view on the swimming pool and the other windows are like on a dead end. A hair dryer can also help some people. The ratio quality/ price is definitely not the best (comparable to the south of France). Maybe some local options (e.g. fried bananas) could improve the breakfast as well. Thank you! Service: 3

The rooms are in very picturesque wooden houses, which is nice in itself, but poses some practical challenges for families travelling together and sharing a house. There is no ceiling, so no acustic separation and the floors were a bit wobly in our house. That aside, amazig decoration, setup and care for every bit of your holiday. Breakfast is high quality and lavish. Both adults and kids loved it at Le Passe-Temps and would recommend it without hesitation!
