* UPDATE * My wife and I tried to return 2 more times. Once the same afternoon and again the next day. Menu clearly says closes at 3.30pm. The first time we arrived was told they are closed. It was 3pm. Drink orders only. Frustrated as we planned our afternoon around it. We went elsewhere. 2nd time I arrived at 2.19pm. Chairs closed the entrance again. Was told closed. That's over an hour early compared to their advertised closing time. I promised them in person that I couldn't return because their open times were not consistent. As I walked away they muttered in Thai to each other and then laughed at me. Food quality may have been good but service showed it's face. * Earlier review * Food tastes fantastic and looks just as good as the menu photos. Quality ingredients. Bailan Cafe is a must-visit in Koh Chang! The food is fresh and delicious (the grilled chicken and avocado salad was a highlight), and the coffee is easily the best on the island. The staff is super friendly, the service is quick, and the prices are very reasonable for such high quality. Highly recommend! Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
