No frills sourdough bakery selling takeaway loaves but best sourdough ever. Would you think soft, chewy and flavourful is associated to sourdoughs? Photos I took don’t do justice cos the loaves are often gone before I can take a nice photo. My baby and toddler loves the breads as much as we do! We had more than 10 loaves now and still wanting more. Thank you for bringing the best sourdough I ever had into my neighbourhood and life Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Lots of flavors. However I don't know if it was sourdough. Got the tumeric and the garlic? Both had very soft insides like white bread. And holes were even. And most importantly they gave me a big sugar spike on the CGM. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Hi Lian Seng,Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, our loaves are 100% sourdough, using long fermentation rather than commercial yeast. The softness you experienced is what makes Bake Anthem's sourdough unique.The glucose spike was likely due to the specific product choice. The Orange Turmeric loaf contains no sugar added orange juice (which still contains glucose and fructose) and dried cranberries, which makes it a higher-sugar option compare to our range of plain sourdoughs.For someone monitoring blood glucose, we recommend to pair it with high fibre and protein and our highest-fiber plain options: Multigrain, Anthem, or Flaxseed, which provide a much more stable glycemic response.P.s If dipping with balsamic vinegar, that also adds to the sugar spike.Best regards,The Bake Anthem Team

We have been buying sourdough breads from Bake Anthem during their SinMing days. After their shift to new place, we continue to buy from them. Just that, we now opt for delivery cos it is a bit far for us. Yes! We are repeat customer! Love their sourdough breads. We freeze them upon delivery to keep fresh. Heat up in oven with butter spread. From freezer to oven - bread still soft n crust crispy ! Yummy ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
