My recent experience with Baker's Heart is one of the most disappointing & unhappy one, which makes me think Baker's Heart only bakes for the diva and neglect order made by commoners. I've been a long time customer with Baker's Heart and have ordered cake for my daughter since her first birthday. However, her eleventh birthday would be the last cake from here. I placed an order 2 weeks ago and stated in the form that I will mail down the toppers from Shopee. So i stated in my shopee order to deliver to the address on the invoice (i.e. Irving Place). I'm pretty sure its still this address on the website because I typed this review. It was only after I got the alert from shopee that the toppers were delivered that I texted Baker's Heart whatsapp for them to check. THEN only the staff informed me that they have shifted! I admitted that I should have checked before I placed my shopee order but the staff did not inform when I placed my order and the invoice is also showing an old address. So I told the staff I don't know how to resolve already. Two days later, the staff just said she tried to call thr Irving place and no one answered and she doesn't stay nearby to go check. I would have expected better effort from Baker's Heart to help resolve this as they also should share the responsibility for not informing of their new address. If they had suggested to help get the topper and I shared the cost, I would also agree. But no. It was just not convenience for them. It was until I got so upset that the staff said she will go down to check. And this was 2 days away from the birthday. Anyway, in the end they tried to resolve with icing image which I have no choice but its better than nothing. On the delivery day, I stated in order form to deliver at 6pm. The cake came at 5.42pm and was left at the door as I stepped out to get something nearby. They could have called before they came or at least call when at the door instead of leaving an edible cake at the door. I was upset. I texted to ask how could they leave the cake at the door and I have stated delivery at 6pm. Only to get a reply that for specific delivery time, need to pay $35. What is this poor customer service? Is this the way to treat a long time customer? It would have been better if they allowed me a cancellation and full refund. Disappointed without a theme cake than to be disappointed a second time for the poor handling. Goodbye Baker's Heart. Will never get another cake from you. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Thank you so much, Baker’s Heart, for being so patient with me throughout all our chats while finalising the cake order. I’m truly grateful and feel so blessed to have received this recommendation from a friend! The final product was exactly what we hoped for - simple, sweet, cute, elegant, princessy, and uniquely made for our girl. We did a lovely 2-tier customised cake with Peachie Vanilla and Strawberry Shortcake, featuring a special Baby Shark + Dolphin + Dinosaur theme - all three of my baby’s top favourites! The 1.5kg size was just right for about 20 kids and 6 adults. I rarely ever like cakes, but this was a real exception. My mum and helper loved it too, and the kids even asked for extra servings! I also sent in a photo of my baby’s favourite dolphin plushie and asked for a 2D print - it was done so accurately, it looked exactly the same. Million thanks once again! I’ll definitely be ordering again for my baby’s next birthday Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I always trust bakes heart when it comes to cake. Have been order countless customize cake from them and they never failed to surprise my family and guest. Our favorite is their rainbow sponge which is moist and flavorful, had also tried their chocolate sponge, its also tastes very nice and not as sweet. Will definitely order again~ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
