Uncle deserves a shoutout. Every visit, he greets customers with a big, genuine smile and the same warm, patient attitude, never rushed, never transactional. He even takes the time to explain his drinks, like warning you if something is sweet and offering iced water to dilute it, which says a lot about how much he cares. His signature orange peel & sour plum drink is an interesting try: fragrant, refreshing, nicely balanced (sweet but not overly sour), and perfect for the Whampoa heat. Free ice water to top it up is a thoughtful bonus. What stands out most is his consistency regular or first timer, everyone gets the same kindness. Highly recommended if you’re at Whampoa Market and want both a great drink and a genuinely uplifting experience. Price per person: $1–10

I don’t usually write such a long review, but uncle really deserves one. Every visit, without fail, he welcomes his customers with a huge, genuine smile that immediately lifts your mood. You can feel his passion in the way he interacts with people, very friendly, patient and always making sure everyone gets their drink just the way they like it. For example, if you order hot drink, he will suggest to serve later but somehow he mentioned some customers took it the wrong way! In a busy world where service can sometimes feel rushed or transactional, his warmth really stands out. His signature orange peel and sour plum drink is an absolute must try! The moment you take the first sip, you can taste the care he puts into preparing it. The citrus fragrance from the orange peel blends perfectly with the sour plum, creating a refreshing balance that’s not too sweet and not too sour. It’s the kind of drink that cools you down instantly, especially in the local heat. He also offers free ice water to top it up for a few more servings. Totally worth the money! What I appreciate most is how consistent and his attitude never changes. Whether you are a regular or just walking by for the first time, he treats everyone with the same warmth and friendliness. Highly, highly recommended if you are in the Whampoa market. Great drinks, fantastic attitude and a genuinely kind uncle who makes your day a little better with every visit!
