Bengawan Solo 23 Serangoon Central, # B2 - 69, NEX mall Singapore 556083 Location = This popular Bengawan Solo shop is located on B2 level of Nex Mall. It's situated just metres away from the B2 level main entrance doorway of Nex mall.️ I walked from Serangoon Central Block 206 side, so this is the B2 level entranceway that I use to gain access to the mall. Decor ************** This Bengawan Solo ( takeaway) shop at Nex mall features a typical bakery interior with prominent large refrigerated glass display cases showcasing various traditional kuehs and cakes, and shelves lining the walls stocked with tins of cookies and other confectionery. The decor is functional, designed to display a wide array of products clearly to customers. Food (️ takeaway shop) ****************************** Kueh Jong Kong / SGD1.80 Kueh Lapis Prune / SGD3.30 per slice The 2-layer Kueh Jong Kong was delicious and the Kueh Lapis Prune was well-crafted, buttery and moist. I counted 18 layers of cake lapis on that thin slice of cake. Service = The service crew that attended to me here were friendly, polite and very pleasant.︎ This is such a stark difference from their many other outlets. ️ Very nice staff here.
