After a disappointing dinner elsewhere, we stopped by Bernie's at Springleaf for dessert and were glad we did. The Elvis Waffles were unavailable, so we ordered Bernie's Crispy Waffles paired with peanut butter jam ice cream instead. The waffles were crisp, light, and paired perfectly with the nostalgic peanut butter jam combination. We also tried the Warm Banana Cake with Rocky Road ice cream. The warm, cake and rich ice cream made for a delicious pairing. Though we only came for dessert, it completely redeemed the evening. A sweet ending to a lacklustre dinner, and a place we'd happily return to. Meal type: Other Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I had a wonderful time at Bernie's! The food was delicious and clearly prepared with care. The ambience was cosy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The place was clean and tidy, which added to the overall comfort. The service was also excellent. The staff were efficient and attentive, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. We’ve been here a couple of times for dinner, but tried the refreshed brunch menu today. Ordered the Brunch Platter for two, and put together a DIY brunch plate for our toddler. Food was solid and the coffee was decent. The only letdown was the avocado, which wasn’t ripe and a bit hard to enjoy. The atmosphere was also easy and relaxed. Kudos to the team!
