Bought two junior size cups, one lavender Hokkaido and another yuzu yoghurt ($4.50 and $5.50 respectively). Lavender tastes artificial, and yuzu and yoghurt did not blend well together. Yuzu bits were also very bitter. Yuzu yoghurt was considered a “super premium” flavour that required an additional $1. Portions were very small and taste did not meet expectations for such prices. Consider buying from Mixue just a few steps away at a price of $2.50 for a bigger portion. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

We stopped by Betsubara at Thomson Plaza for dessert, and three of us ordered their signature Sea Salt Hokkaido Milk Soft Serve. The Verdict: It was indeed a great taste of Hokkaido. The soft serve is incredibly smooth and creamy, with that distinct rich milky flavour you expect from high-quality Hokkaido dairy. The sea salt element is subtle but perfect—it provides a savoury contrast that balances the sweetness, making it very addictive without being cloying. Bonus Points: I noticed from their signage that their soft creams are Eggless and Vegetarian-friendly, which is a great plus for those with dietary restrictions.
