Rustic beach bar meets pirate cove. Black Rose is the perfect spot to sink your toes into the sand while watching the waves wash ashore. Cheap beers and a great view. Seems to be a family-run establishment. Be sure to take the stairs beside the kitchen up to Mae Nam Viewpoint for a panoramic vista. Lots of street parking for cars and scooters along the canal behind the restaurant. Price per person: ฿1–200 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Black Rose Bar is a hidden gem right on the beach. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, perfect for enjoying the sea breeze. Prices are great too, soft drinks start at just 30 baht and fresh coconuts are only 70 baht. A wonderful spot to unwind. Great value, great vibes! Price per person: ฿1–200 Atmosphere: 5
