#3rd review# (week of 12 Mar). I've been trying to make it a weekly thing if I can. Every week they come up with different creative dishes and cuisines (sometimes fusion) and it always amazes me (some might not have wow effect, but props for pushing the boundaries). Plus, I've always gone for the vegan set. What really hit the spot this week were the coconut sambal (might be a bit spicy for some) and the masak lemak putih, which were an "umami bomb" with every bite. Bummer, the kombucha was so popular this week it sold out and the new batch wasn't ready yet. I highly recommend everyone try it whenever kombucha is available (regardless of any flavour). #2nd review# (week of 5 feb). The consistency of the food standard has been maintained (from last week). Today's highlight was the organic cauliflower hot & sour style soup, which presented a perfectly balanced flavour profile and enough texture. A notable ingredient used was the coffee-based oyster sauce, which is suitable for vegans. I would like to commend the kombucha as potentially the finest in Singapore. I look forward to my next visit. #1st review# (week of 29 jan). The restaurant operates on a foundation of sustainability and communal environment, emphasizing food rescue and waste minimization. I was previously unaware of this establishment's presence until a distinctive exterior signage captured my attention. The food and desserts were exceptional, warranting a five-star rating. The kombucha also proved to be an excellent accompaniment, providing a refreshing balance without overpowering the dishes. The menu is updated weekly, contingent upon the available ingredients. Vegan menu is always available. Pricing begins at $18 and above, allowing patrons to determine the value. Due to lean staffing, a significant degree of self-service is required. However, individuals with mobility concerns are encouraged to notify staff, who I believe will undoubtedly provide assistance. Was here entirely by chance as I signed up to attend an event hosted here, and had no expectations about the food. The lady boss/ founder spoke briefly about her vision for the venue, on food sustainability and reducing food waste. Which I thought was a really commendable mission. Honestly was blown away by the flavour and quality of the food - fresh, well seasoned, and clearly made with a lot of care and attention to detail. I will definitely be back to try their usual menu, and bringing my french husband qui est un bon bricoleur (iykyk). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in

Located at the heart of the arts district at the Arts House, & near to National Gallery Singapore, Bricolage cafe is truly a hidden gem. The layout is beautiful, spacious, cosy, perfect to visit with friends or alone. The lunch set was made with fresh ingredients, with vegetarian options available. The ice cream, along with their handmade banana toppings, was soo delicious. There were many interesting books to read on the shelf to enjoy a peaceful time. I look forward to visiting this wonderful cafe when I visit SG.
