came here with a group, but almost everything we wanted to order was unavailable. We ordered pizza — unavailable. Waffles — unavailable. Juice — unavailable. At that point, we were wondering what we could actually order from the menu. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the pizza was still showing as available on Grab. If the restaurant has no pizza available, why is it still listed for customers to order online? It is understandable that certain items can run out, but having multiple items unavailable without properly updating the menu shows poor management and communication. Customers come to a restaurant expecting to be able to order from the menu, not to hear “not available” again and again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I was looking forward to dinner at Brio. Just for the record, and as much as possible, I prefer to support Singaporean-owned businesses, and the fact that Brio is halal-certified is a huge plus. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short. I do not live in the Far West and the location of the restaurant within Jurong Point was confusing as the escalator nearest to the entrance from the MRT goes up to the 3rd floor and there is no visible 2nd floor whilst the escalator was heading up. Thankfully, my friend guided me there. We arrived around 6:00pm on a reservation. The restaurant wasn't busy at all just about 2-3 tables were occupied. We were shown to our table by an older gentleman, and I was grateful that I got my corner table. We ordered our food via the Qlub QR system, which felt quite clunky to use. In any case, we ordered -- - Calamari ($10.80): Decent overall, served with a chilled pomodoro dip. - French Onion Bleu Burger ($17.80): Decent flavor, but the brioche bun was dry and brittle. The fries were cold, though well-seasoned. - Soup of the Day & Iced Lemon Tea Combo ($6.50): Standard addition to the meal. - Lemon & Herbs Chicken Thigh ($14.80 with pasta and grilled broccoli): This was the main disappointment. The chicken had a stale, pre-cooked smell, and my friend noted it tasted un-fresh. After two bites, he couldn't finish it. I am generally very forgiving with service, especially from older staff and rarely write negative reviews. However, the service felt unnecessarily rushed despite the low crowd. More importantly, when we provided feedback about the chicken, it was brushed off with a 'We sold so many today and had no complaints.' Between the could-have-been-better food, clunky ordering system, and dismissive service, I am sadly unlikely to return. (Note: The above was edited with AI to help tone down my disappointment).
