With businesses I'm not familiar with in Bangkok, I never know if I'm going to get scammed. Upon entering this place, it looked pleasant but there were no other customers. This made me a bit wary, however, it was all very good. The wait staff are from Burma and friendly. The restaurant is big on beef. It's a vegetarians nightmare, which is a big bonus. My lad ordered a burger, which was huge and he said it was very good. I had a Reuben sandwich, but it wasn't the same as I'd had before. Shouldn't Reuben sandwiches contain some tangy sauerkraut? It was OK, but not very authentic. These days, many restaurants in Bangkok add on VAT and a 10% service charge. They don't do this in provincial Thailand where I live because Thai customers wouldn't stand for it. However, in Bangkok where there are so many tourists, the tourists just pay up. A service charge of just 3% was added to my bill here. Overall, it was a good experience.
